Ice Fishing Game by Evolution: 53 Segments and 5,000x

The Ice Fishing game people search for is one of two very different things. If you want a fishing simulator, this is not it. If you mean Evolution's live game show, this is the one: a human host, a virtual 53-segment money wheel, six bet spots and three Arctic bonus catches paying up to 500x per fish, with rewards advertised up to 5,000x. It has been in casino lobbies since 10 December 2025 and it takes real stakes only.

Two games share this name: the sim and the Evolution show

Type “ice fishing game” into a search bar and you get two products that have nothing in common. The first is a family of fishing simulators: Steam titles, mobile arcades and winter modes in bigger angling games, where you drill a hole, drop a line and wait for a bite. They are ordinary video games — no host, no wagering, nothing to cash out. This site does not cover them.

The second is the Evolution live game show that appeared in casino lobbies on 10 December 2025. It streams from an arctic-styled studio with a real presenter, and every round is settled on a virtual money wheel of 53 segments. There is no download and no console version: the show runs in a casino tab on desktop and mobile, and it takes real stakes only.

A quick test: a betting grid, a countdown and a live host mean you have found the show. An inventory of rods and lures means the video game — a fine product, just not this one.

How a round works

The 53-segment wheel and the six bet spots

Every round follows the same loop. Betting opens, the presenter talks through the board, betting closes, and the wheel is released. When it settles, the flapper at the top points at one of 53 segments — and that segment decides everything: an instant payout, a bonus catch, or a loss for every spot that missed.

Six bet spots cover the board. Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are the instant lanes: if the flapper lands on your leaf, you are paid by the paytable on the spot. Lil' Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds are tickets — they pay nothing directly, but they put you into the matching Arctic bonus round when the wheel stops on that group.

The sixth spot, All Bonuses, backs every bonus segment on the wheel at once. It costs three stakes rather than one, and it never touches the Leaf segments — a leaf result loses the whole cover.

Only one segment can win. There is no split result, no re-spin and no second chance if the flapper stops a hair short of your colour: six spots, 53 segments, one verdict per round.

Before the spin

Multipliers up to 10x land before the wheel turns

Between the close of betting and the spin, the game may drop multipliers onto random segments. This is the only moment the board changes, and it happens whether or not anyone backed the segments involved.

On Leaf 1 or Leaf 2, one random segment can receive 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x, and that figure simply multiplies the instant payout. On a bonus group the drop is 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x or 10x — and it works differently: instead of touching the payout, it raises the multiplier printed on every fish inside that catch before the reeling begins.

That distinction is the heart of the game's math. A 10x on a leaf is a bigger instant win; a 10x on Huge Reds turns a 10x–500x pool into a 100x–5,000x one — which is exactly where Evolution's advertised ceiling of 5,000x comes from.

The bonus ladder has eight rungs — 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x and 10x — and skips 9x; the Leaf ladder runs on five. Drops land on random segments regardless of where the money sits.

The bonus rounds

Three Arctic catches: Lil' Blues, Big Oranges, Huge Reds

When the wheel stops on a backed bonus segment, the table cuts to the arctic set. The host takes the rod, hooks a fish and reels it out of the hole deliberately slowly, raising the tension on purpose — the multiplier painted on its side is confirmed only once the catch is fully out of the water.

The three catches are not interchangeable. Lil' Blues fish carry 3x to 100x and turn up most often. Big Oranges sit in the middle at 4x to 200x. Huge Reds are the rare group, with individual fish worth 10x to 500x — the only route to the top rewards.

Nothing is hidden: the pool is fixed before the rod goes in, and the slow reel buys drama rather than a different number.

Everyone at the table watches the round in full; only players who backed the winning spot are paid from it. The complete breakdown of ranges, entry odds and what a wheel multiplier does to each catch lives on the bonus games page.

Spin the wheel: where does the flapper stop?

Five segment groups share the 53 slots, and they are not equally common. Spin it and see which one the flapper picks.

Ice Fishing FAQ

Is Ice Fishing a video game or a casino game?

Both names exist. The fishing simulators are ordinary video games; the one covered here is Evolution's live game show, hosted by a real presenter and settled on a 53-segment money wheel with real stakes. The two share a name and nothing else: the show has no download, no console build and no offline mode, and it has run in casino lobbies since 10 December 2025.

How much can Ice Fishing pay?

Evolution advertises rewards up to 5,000x. The route there runs through the Huge Reds catch, where individual fish carry 10x to 500x before any wheel multiplier is added. Read it as a ceiling, not an average: it needs a 500x fish and a 10x drop in the same round.

What do the 10x multipliers do?

After betting closes, random segments may be assigned a multiplier. On a Leaf segment it multiplies the instant payout; on a bonus segment it raises the multiplier printed on every fish in that catch before the reeling starts. Leaf drops offer five values, bonus drops eight.

Do I have to bet to watch a bonus catch?

No. Every player at the table sees the Arctic bonus round, but only those who backed that bet spot take a payout from it. The payout is the only thing reserved for bettors — the stream stays open on desktop and mobile.

Bottom line

The wheel, in one paragraph

One 53-segment wheel, six spots, three catches and a 5,000x ceiling only Huge Reds can reach — that is the whole game, and the table is one click away.

The wheel takes real stakes only. Set a deposit limit before you open the lobby, count your session in spins rather than minutes, and treat every result as entertainment, never income. 18+.
